Stardome's entrance, planetarium, and toilets are wheelchair accessible. The planetarium has space for three wheelchairs, please indicate at time of booking. The Zeiss telescope is not wheelchair accessible and has four steps leading up to it. Carers go free when accompanying a visitor with a disability. Terms & Conditions of Entry
Late entry to shows is not permitted after the planetarium doors have closed. The planetarium environment is not suitable for children under the age of three. Please ask a staff member or refer to the Stardome Show Guide for age recommendations for each show. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, in accordance with section 10B of the Summary Offences Act 1981. We accept no liability for any loss or damage to any car in the carpark. It is recommended that valuable items are hidden from view or removed from the vehicle.
Please be aware that the lower carpark in front of the playground is operated by Auckland Council (not Stardome) and is locked at 7.00pm. The gate to One Tree Hill Domain is operated by The Tūpuna Maunga Authority and prevents entry after 9pm (the gate will open automatically for exiting vehicles). The use of cellphones and recording devices is not permitted during shows in the planetarium. Bookings strongly advised as planetarium shows often sell out.
